From October 2001 to May 2020, Prof. Meyer-Wegener has been the head of the Institute of Computer Science 6 (Data Management). On May 5th, 2020, he entered the passive phase of his part-time employment prior to retirement. In this phase, he will generally be available at the university on Monday and Tuesday. Official retirement begins on October 1st, 2022.

Before Erlangen, he was at TU Dresden. Projects that he supervised there can be found here.
