Internal Certification Authority(CA)
For internal services (e.g., GitLab), we use certificates from our internal certificate authority.
To ensure that the browser or operating system recognizes these certificates as trustworthy, two certificates must be installed once.

Instructions for Windows
- Double-click cs6-root-ca.crt
- Click „install certificate…“
- Select „Local machine“, then click next (administrator confirmation may be required)
- Select „Place all certificates in the following store“ → „Trusted Root Certification Authorities”
- OK
- Repeat the same steps with cs6-signing-ca.crt, → „Intermediate Certification Authorities“
- Restart
Instructions for macOS
- Double-click cs6-root-ca.crt → opens Keychain Access
- The certificate appears in the list (in the Login Keychain, if applicable) – double-click it.
- Expand the section „Trust” → set „When using this certificate“ to „Always trust“
- Close the window, confirm the system password
- Repeat the same steps with cs6-signing-ca.crt
- Restart

Fedora / RHEL / Rocky:
sudo cp cs6-root-ca.crt cs6-signing-ca.crt /etc/pki/ca-trust/source/anchors/
sudo update-ca-trust
Ubuntu / Debian:
sudo cp cs6-root-ca.crt cs6-signing-ca.crt /usr/local/share/ca-certificates/
sudo update-ca-certificates
